The International Certificate in adolesent Coaching (Basic Level) with supervision and practical work is held by Yasan Counseling Center and Rai Mana Coaching Institute.

 

Who can Participate?

 Group 1: If you are a counselor, counselor, psychologist, or psychotherapist (with relevant qualifications) who works with adolescent clients or want to enter the field of adolescent coaching full-time or part-time, this course is right for you. This program provides you with the basic knowledge and skills to do adolescent coaching. In fact, along with therapy, it will allow you to use coaching skills for adolescents with identity crises, lack of motivation, lack of proper self-knowledge, etc.

 Group 2: If you are a sports coach, teacher, or professional who works professionally with teenagers aged 12 to 18 and have received at least a bachelor's degree (in any field), this course is right for you. Note that to gain more skills, you must definitely upgrade your education and skills in this field and you should not be satisfied with your basic degree. You can only use the knowledge of youth coaching alongside your specialized field and you cannot do coaching work separately.

 

The International Certificate in Adolescent Coaching (Basic Level) is based on integrative coaching psychology.

 

Topics of course

The course has three modules  , each of which is a prerequisite for the next module.  The topics of each module are as follows:

 

Module 1: Fundamentals of Adolescent Coaching Psychology (10 hours)

  • What is integrative coaching psychology?

  • Definition, limits and boundaries of Adolescent coaching

  • Adolescence and its changes

  • What does a Adolescent coach do?

  • Essential Skills in Adolescent Coaching

  • Ethical and professional principles in Adolescent coaching  

 

Module 2: Underlying Theories of Adolescent Coaching Psychology (20 hours)

  • Theoretical Model and Components of Integrative Coaching Psychology

  • Foundations of a good life

  • Relationship and relationship building

  • Basic psychological needs and motivation

  • Secretary's capabilities

  • Core personal values

  • General behavior

  • Perception and the Phenomenological World

  • Desire, vision

  • Identity

  • Responsibility (self, others, and society)

  • Self-care

  • Self-leadership and positive goal setting

  • Mindfulness

  • Self-compassion

 

Module Three: Implementing the adolescent coaching process with an integrative approach (30 hours)

Part One: Training and practicing the integrative coaching psychology intervention process for adolescents

  • Teaching the process of integrative coaching psychology intervention

  • Step-by-step practice of the intervention process

  • Practice the entire intervention process

 

Final stage: Role-playing and receiving supervision

After learning the entire intervention process, trainees will role-play in given scenarios and receive training supervision from the course instructors. After passing this section, trainees will be prepared to appear for the final written and practical exam.

Introducing Dr. Asieh Anari, course instructor

Dr. Asieh Anari is a psychologist, researcher, author, entrepreneur, and one of the young scientific and academic elites who has contributed many achievements to Iranian psychologists, especially in the field of children and adolescents.

She has achieved many top rankings in the field of child and adolescent psychology inside and outside Iran, which has further highlighted his scientific and practical status.

Dr. Anari is currently a member of important psychological institutions in the country, some of the most important of which are:

  • Member of the Specialized Committee for Children and Adolescents, Marriage and Family Association, Welfare Organization

  • Member of the Specialized Committee on Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, Psychological System

  • Head of the Puberty and Adolescence Project of the State Welfare Organization of Iran

 Also, Shahid Beheshti University, one of the best universities in the country in the field of psychology, has a close collaboration with Dr. Anari in teaching students and  holding internship courses, with the aim of utilizing his scientific and practical experiences in training psychology students.
